I DRAW DOG PICTURE (2008, Tossapol Boonsinsukh, A+)

Tossapol Boonsinsukh posted two of his new films in Youtube. You can watch them here:

2.OPEN POEM

Unfortunately, there are no subtitles in these two films, but I think I can translate some Thai texts shown in these two films.

In I DRAW DOG PICTURE, we see the painter write a word at the end of the film. That word is “Hong”, which is the sound of dog barking in Thai.

In OPEN POEM, we see these words:

old toothpaste
rolled belt
seal
whale
giraffe
CD of her favorite band
Saturn planet
pencil
tear
Hua Hin
the sound of guitar in ACROSS THE UNIVERSE
sofa in a living room
kitchen
night
spring season
earthcore
you
me
you
me
your yesterday
my yesterday
you
and you
