IS “MONK AND JACKFRUIT GHOST” (A+/A) TOO CONSERVATIVE?

This is my comment in Chayanin’s facebook:

I have seen MONK AND JACKFRUIT GHOST (2009, Dulyasit Niyomgul). I gave it A+/A. Nearly everything in this film is much better than I expected, but the film is too conservative for me. I don’t like the relationships between parents and children, the redemption of the hero, and the clean look of the heroine, but I like everything else in this film.

For the heroine here I mean Achiraya Peerapatkunchaya, though her role is much less than the role of the jackfruit ghost.
